Main Street
You’ll arrive on 24 Carrot Island. Immediately head to the left and go to the Carrot Farm. Walk past the farmer and jump up onto the roof of the house and then go down the chimney. When you get inside the house, go to the right past the couch and you’ll get an empty bowl. Go back up through the chimney to get outside of the house. Go right to return to the starting area. Walk a few paces to the right and then go inside the restaurant, called the Carrot King Diner. Talk to the waitress right by the door and ask her to fill your bowl with milk. Once the bowl has milk in it, go back to the Carrot Farm and re-enter the house through the chimney.
This time, go to the right. When you pass the place where you found the empty bowl, you will bend down and place the full bowl on the floor. Go to the right and jump up onto the second floor and then run to the left over to where the bathtub is. Turn on the water. A little cat will leap out from the tub. Walk slowly behind him to “chase” him downstairs and then follow him there. The cat will spy the bowl of milk that you placed on the floor and will drink from it. The cat will become very friendly to you and will follow you wherever you go. Leave the farmhouse and then go back to Main Street.
Now go right past the diner and the theater and go into Charlie’s Carrot Surplus Co. Go inside and speak to the woman at the counter Tell her you found her cat his name is Whiskers and then she will give you a crowbar.
Go back outside and run to the right. Go to the next area, called the Factory. When you get there, keep running to the right. Jump up the left side of the factory to the roof and you will find the Vent Blueprint. The blueprint will help you get through the maze of passageways inside the factory. Go down the other side of the factory and you’ll find a passage with a grate on it. Since you have the crowbar, just click on the lid of the pipe and you will pry it open. Then you will head inside.
Going Inside the Factory
Go left through the pipe and you’ll find a carrot transporter. You won’t really need this either, but it’s cool to have. Head up the left side of the pipe and then run right back over the valves as they close. The trick to get over these is to stand at the edge and be patient. Move across as each one starts to close and you’ll be fine. Try to run across just one opening at a time. Some of them are tricky because they open and shut pretty fast.
There’s a nasty giant rat waiting for you in the next area. To avoid him, jump up into the section of pipe above your head. Run through it and go down the other side to the left. Go up through the top and you’ll arrive in a dark room.
In the Factory
The Machine Room
Run over to the left and stand in front of the Master Engine panel. There are three levers on the machine and they are all in the up position. Move the left lever so that it is midway between up and down. The little green light above it will light up. Move the middle lever all the way down and the right lever to the same position in between up and down as you did with the lever on the left. Once you have all three levers in the correct positions, the main lights in the room turn on and the engine begins to move.
Go to the right of the room and get up onto the boxes. Jump up to the left onto the platform and then onto the top of the three barrels. A giant mechanical arm will come by and when it does, jump up onto that. It will come to a platform on the right and when it does, jump off onto the platform and enter the open vent.
Vent
The vent is a series of passageways that connect the different rooms in the Factory. If you get lost inside the vent, you can use the blueprint you found on the roof of the factory. Head down and to the left and keep going until you see part of the passageway that is covered in ice. Go up and through that passageway and then down the other side. After a few more steps you’ll see some wire cutters on the floor. Pick them up and then keep moving to the right until you find a grate in the passageway. Click to enter the next room.
The Security System
Once inside the room, you’ll see that the security system is enabled. Drop down onto the floor of this room. A security robot will fly in and zap you. After you are zapped in a blinding flash of white light, you’ll end up in a brand new room in the factory. You’ll see a panel above and to the right marked as the security system. Click on the panel and then use the wire cutters to cut all three wires and shut down the security system. Go up to the right and you’ll see a grate you can go through to get back into the vent passages.
Packing Room
Jump up into the vent and head up and to the right. Very soon, you’ll arrive at another grate. Head into this room. The first obstacle you’ll face in here are chutes with crates of carrots that drop through. Stand on the edge of each chute and wait for the crates to stop falling before proceeding to the next one. The crates come in groups of different numbers. It’s not too difficult to determine the patterns if you are patient as you go past. When you get past the chutes, go to the right and drop to the floor. then head over to the left of the room.
Talk to the woman wearing the rabbit ears and glasses and tell her to look behind her Then the screen will change and you’ll see a close-up of the top of her rabbit ears hat. Click the button on the ears and the hypnotic power will be disabled. The woman will retrieve a printout that gives you a password. Now go a little to the left and jump back up to the vent grate where you entered. Click on it to go back into the vents.
Back to the Security Robot Room
OK now you want to head back to the same place you were in before where the security robot zapped you so use your vent blueprint if you need to and get back to that same entrance and go inside.
The robot will not zap you this time because the security system has been disabled. Go to the bottom right where you see a doorway and a sign that says, “Authorized Bunny Drones Only.” You’re not an authorized bunny drone so you’ll fall through a trap door that appears when you try to pass through the door. But you’ll solve that problem in a moment. You will land in a new factory room. Drop down to the left and you will end up on a moving conveyer belt. Move to the right, taking care to not get squished by the carrot smashing presses in this room. You also need to avoid the hot carrot juice that comes out. Once you get past these things, jump up on top of the steel girder and you will see a bunny ears hat. Run over it to pick it up. These are drone ears just like all the other people in here are wearing. Equip the bunny ears and then exit the room.
You’ll arrive back in the room that had the security robot and the trap door. Now, while you’re wearing the bunny drone ears, go back to the big doorway. This time, you’re authorized and you can get inside.
The Villain Dr. Hare
When you arrive in the next area, you’ll see the villain Dr. Hare. Thinking you’re one of his rabbit ear wearing drones, he’ll give you commands to start the launch of his rocket. Leap up onto the rocket. There will be a platform on the right with a big computer on it and a guy wearing the drone ears next to it. Click on him and say, “Look, a giant bunny!” The screen will change to a close up of the back of the ears he’s wearing. Turn them off by clicking on the power button on the ears. You then want to click on the computer. You’ll get a prompt for the password. Enter “fuzzybunny”. Next, the computer will prompt you for a command. The correct command is “launch rabbot”. Make sure you spell it just like that. It’s rabbot and not rabbit. The Rabbot is the giant spaceship robot that Dr. Hare has built.
The next thing that happens is that the spaceship launches and you must control it using the computer. Now you want to try and crash the spaceship by moving it into the path of the oncoming asteroids. Crash it into four asteroids to destroy the spaceship and send Dr. Hare into the depths of space. You just stopped Dr. Hare’s evil plot. Great job!
You’ll be back in the main area standing in front of the gas station, but now 24 Carrot Island is bright and colorful again. Walk to the left where you’ll find the Mayor of 24 Carrot Island. He will thank you and give you a medallion for saving the town. Rock on!
