Originally, everyone thought this would be the long-awaited buddy list capability in Poptropica that most other games have. But it turns out to be much more. Yes, you’ll be able to become friends with other Poptropica players, either by meeting them in the multi-player rooms or by knowing their account names and typing them in. But you’ll also be able to share costumes with friends, track achievements through a new feature called game photos and share personality profiles. This last part is a series of items you can collect to express your personality and they’re based on personality quizzes that you take each day when you visit Poptropica.

Another special feature for members only is a new Closet. This is a system where you can save and store 30 different outfits. It’s great for players who like to create a lot of different outfits using the Costumizer and don’t want to have to re-create them from scratch each time.

In other news, Twisted Thicket Island is coming out on Thursday, April 12. You can learn more here on the Cheats for Twisted Thicket Island page. This is the twenty-sixth island and it will feature a Norse mythology theme and take place in a forest setting. Members can now get special outfits ahead of the island release in the Poptropica Store. They include the special Lumberjerk outfit, which will only be available during the early access period.

This new island is [...]]]> The big news of the day in Poptropica is that Reality TV Island has finally arrived. You can play this new island if you are a paid subscriber. If you aren’t then you are totally out of luck and must wait a month until it comes out for everyone. No fair!

This new island is a lot different than other ones. There’s a short part at the beginning where you need to do some things to become a contestant on the show, but after that the island is a series of competitions that you have with other contestants. If you win a competition, you are safe from being voted off the island. But if you lose you can get voted off and then you need to start all over again. When you win the final competition, you are champion and solve the island, get your medallion, etc. The nice part is you can come back and play again anytime and do more competitions.
